I love books that make you look at the world a little differently.
Peter Goodfellow, a retired English teacher and avid bird watcher, produced a book called “Avian Architecture“, detailing how birds design, engineer and build their nests :


Avian Architecture provides “intricate step by step sequences, architectural blueprints, and visual spreads on nest-building materials and methods”.
Sounds really interesting, doesn’t it? I never thought of birds as builders and engineers (no offence, birds), but they clearly are, in their own right :-)
