all together, with feeling now

like a lightbulb in a dark room

5 years on, Love, Actually is still one of my favourite movies ever.

My absolute, absolute favourite scene is where shy/hot architect (hot-hot-potato-hot!) Harry asks “dying-inside-to-hold-you” Sarah to dance at their office party, after almost three years of liking one another but neither person saying anything.

And then Norah Jones’ “Turn Me On” starts playing, and the two slow-dance – gingerly at first, then they relax and let their true feelings show. Gets me every time!
