design love, home, photografii

now, this is cool.

I haven’t been this stunned by a home since this New York brownstone.

This is designer Lela Rose and husband Brandon Jones’ downtown ground-floor apartment (if 6,000 sqft can even be called that).

A circular banquette and wall of artfully arranged photographs accent the living room by the ‘storefront’ living room windows, while the dining area consists of a giant box – how awesome is that!?

The living room (on the left) is just stunning with the flood of light and tall ceilings, and the kitchen’s aubergine color is a nice surprise.

Love the idea of flaps hiding additional storage – so much more fun than drawers, don’t you think?
