all together, with feeling now, comfort food*

Live to eat.

Kaya pandan waffle from Commonwealth MRT. Best eaten hot and crispy yet gooey, out of a brown paper bag.

Simply Bread’s chunky egg sarnie for brunch. Unfortunately not as great as it looked.

Home-cooked treat – paella and minestrone soup for dinner! Still dreaming of the minestrone – chunky, slightly cheesy, and super tasty.

And just this morning – our Indian veg fix. I always end up ordering something other than the rice plate (which M ordered) and live to regret it. My veg briyani just didn’t hit the spot. The highlight though was the begrudging, grouchy waitstaff whom we nicely asked to refill M’s side dishes (rice plates are all-you-can-eat), but by the end of the meal he’d warmed up to us.
