I am having a minor obsession over full skirts right now. I displayed a complete lack of prudence at Granny’s Day Out a few days ago, after twirling around in a vintage black number with little white squiggly lines all over. I’ve been looking for a print like that for a long time. (sigh)

And then I spot this beauty on Pinterest. Yokoo Gibraan, who started off with a superquirky knit fashion accessory Etsy store, has branched into clothing with her latest venture, MOTHER. (Hallelujah!)

Resist! Re! Sist!

I cannot wait to visit the Repetto boutique when we are in Paris. It looks like the stuff of ballet dreams <3

And who knows, maybe I’ll close my eyes, pretend my wallet won’t bear a gaping hole, and get a pair. :X

The Beekeeper’s Daughter.

Sarah Burton’s Alexander McQueen Spring 2013 collection was awe-inspiring. I am so in love with the honeycomb / bee motif that runs throughout the collection. Not to mention all that lovely geometric construction.

It really reminded me of good ol’ Sylvia Plath, and this poem, “The Beekeeper’s Daughter” :

Haunting and mysteriously beautiful, as only Plath can be.

ooh la la, Alexa.

Grazia compiled Alexa’s Top 10 Style Hits, and I completely concur. She always gets it right… oh, how does she do it? <3

Holiday snaps to come! It was in one word – hot. Blazing, to be exact. Which lessened the enjoyment somewhat, unfortunately. But still, it was a nice little adventure and it sure did feel good to forget about work for a while. We rented a car and drove around Santorini! Which was at first very stressful but then super fun and liberating.

Anyway, more on that later :-)
