all together, with feeling now, travel

Plotting my escape(s).

Hi lovelies, I can hardly believe two weeks have flown by since my last post! It’s ridiculous how easily the days fade into one another.

Work has again been relentless, and at the same time weekends are taken up making final decisions and purchases for the new place, as well as recovering from work. (We move in 2 weeks! Nuts.)

I am really looking forward to our trip to Istanbul and Santorini in July – found this cute little place to stay at while in Istanbul, called Karakoy Rooms. It’s centrally located, and has good reviews on Tripadvisor – plus the decor is just lovely.

The hotel has a little local restaurant called Karakoy Lokantasi on street level, which is apparently really good! I’m excited to try it out.

But first – there’s Bangkok next week for a close friend’s wedding! It’s going to epic, and I can’t wait to hang out with the gang and try to stop them from turning Dave’s wedding into a Hangover sequel.

Have a great week my dears!

  1. Lucky you….travelling again! The decor of the hotel looks so soothing and comfy. Give me anything with pencil legs and I’m sold. Talking about that, I’m anticpating my own TV console with pencil legs by mid March. I’m crossing fingers that it will look good in person!

    Have a great trip!

Joy, I hear you about the pencil legs! I’m crazy about them too :-) Where are you getting your console from? I’m sure it’ll look amazing.

  3. I have been so busy with the home that I haven’t got time to read through my blogrolls! How’s your reno coming along? I got my TV console online via woodies n stuffz. They are setting shop soon and I heard it is opening by mid March, so you can probably check them out in person then!

  4. Hi Joy, I’ve just moved in (it’s the 3rd day now)! We’ve also been crazy busy, and sooo tired. Great to know about the TV console, we are looking around for one. Thank you :-)
